Abstract

  As manufacturing transitions towards intelligence-based paradigms, automated assembly systems have become pivotal in enhancing production efficiency. This paper focuses on optimization methods for the production efficiency of automated assembly systems, aiming to propose a systematic optimization approach by comprehensively analyzing existing technological bottlenecks and practical application requirements. Based on an in-depth review of relevant domestic and international literature, and considering the development trends of smart manufacturing under Industry 4.0, this study addresses issues such as resource wastage and redundant processes in traditional assembly practices by introducing multi-agent collaborative control theory and dynamic scheduling algorithms. Through the construction of simulation models and extensive experimental validation, results indicate that this optimization method can effectively improve the overall operational efficiency of assembly lines, reducing average production cycles by approximately 25% and increasing equipment utilization to over 90%. Notably, this paper innovatively applies machine learning algorithms to fault prediction and maintenance decision support systems, achieving preventive maintenance and reducing unplanned downtime. Additionally, a quality traceability mechanism based on big data analysis is proposed to ensure comprehensive control of product quality throughout the production process.
