Abstract

  As manufacturing transitions towards intelligence, the application of automated assembly technology has become crucial for enhancing efficiency and quality in mechanical manufacturing. This paper focuses on the application and improvement of automated assembly technology in mechanical manufacturing, aiming to propose innovative solutions by analyzing existing technological bottlenecks. Based on field research at advanced manufacturing enterprises both domestically and internationally, combined with theoretical analysis and empirical studies, this paper thoroughly examines the performance of automated assembly systems in precision control, flexible production, and cost optimization. Through an analysis of a case study from a large-scale equipment manufacturing enterprise, it was found that traditional assembly processes suffer from low efficiency and accumulated errors. To address these issues, this paper introduces intelligent sensing technology, machine vision systems, and adaptive control algorithms to construct an integrated smart assembly platform, achieving real-time monitoring and dynamic adjustment of the assembly process. Experimental results indicate that this platform can increase assembly accuracy by 30%, improve production efficiency by 25%, and significantly reduce defect rates. Additionally, a predictive maintenance scheme based on big data analysis is proposed, effectively extending the service life of equipment. The conclusion of this study points out that combining technological innovation with management optimization can significantly enhance the core competitiveness of mechanical manufacturing enterprises, providing valuable references for industry transformation and upgrading.
