Abstract

  With the rapid development of home appliance manufacturing, automated assembly technology has become a critical factor in enhancing production efficiency and product quality. This study aims to investigate the current application status, challenges, and optimization strategies of automated assembly technology in home appliance production. By analyzing relevant research findings both domestically and internationally, combined with case studies, a systematic optimization solution is proposed. The research reveals that current home appliance assembly lines generally suffer from low equipment utilization and insufficient flexibility, which limit the balance between large-scale production and personalized customization needs. To address these issues, this study introduces intelligent sensing and control technologies to establish an IoT-based assembly monitoring system, enabling real-time monitoring and fault prediction of the assembly process. Meanwhile, a modular design concept is adopted to develop reconfigurable assembly units, significantly improving the adaptability and flexibility of the production line. Experimental results show that the optimized assembly system not only increases production efficiency by more than 30% but also reduces the product defect rate by 25%, providing crucial technical support for home appliance manufacturers. Furthermore, this study proposes a quality traceability system based on big data analysis, laying a solid foundation for enterprises to achieve smart manufacturing transformation, thus possessing significant theoretical and practical implications.
