Abstract

  As the degree of automation in manufacturing continues to increase, logistics distribution and material management during automated assembly have become critical factors in enhancing production efficiency and product quality. This study aims to explore effective models for logistics distribution and material management in automated assembly to achieve precise and efficient material supply, reduce inventory costs, and improve response speed. By analyzing the operational characteristics of current automated assembly lines and integrating advanced information technology and intelligent logistics systems, an integrated material management model based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and big data analytics is proposed. This model utilizes sensor networks to monitor material status in real-time, employs data analysis to predict demand fluctuations, optimizes delivery route planning, and achieves automatic replenishment through smart warehousing systems. Experimental results indicate that after adopting this model, material turnover rates increased by 30%, inventory levels decreased by 25%, and assembly line downtime was reduced by 40%. Additionally, a visualization management platform was developed to provide real-time data support for managers, enhancing the scientific nature and timeliness of decision-making. Innovatively applying emerging technologies such as IoT and big data to traditional material management fields, this research constructs an intelligent and informatized logistics distribution system, significantly improving the operational efficiency of automated assembly production lines and providing new ideas and technical references for material management in related industries.
