An Investigation into the Impact of Situational Teaching Methods in Elementary Chinese on Students' Learning Interest
Abstract: This study takes primary school Chinese teaching as the starting point to explore the influence of situational teaching method on students's interest in learning, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for optimizing primary school Chinese teaching. The sixth grade students from three primary schools in a city were selected as the research ob jects, and the quasi-experimental design was collected through questionnaire survey, classroom observation and interview. The results show that the situational teaching method can significantly improve students' interest in language learning, which is embodied in enhancing learning motivation, improving classroom participation and improving emotional experience. Furthermore, we found differential responses to situational pedagogy by gender and academic level, with female and middle academic students showing higher adaptability and motivation. The innovation point of this study lies in the deep integration of situational teaching method with primary school Chinese teaching, and analyzes its influence mechanism on students' learning interest from multidimensional aspects, and reveals the role of individual differences in the teaching effect.
