Abstract

  Oral and maxillofacial fractures are a common type of clinical trauma, with treatment outcomes directly impacting patients' physiological functions and aesthetics. To improve therapeutic efficacy and optimize the functional recovery evaluation system, this study focused on surgical treatment methods for oral and maxillofacial fractures and postoperative functional recovery assessment. A retrospective analysis was conducted on 120 patients with oral and maxillofacial fractures, utilizing computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology combined with titanium plate internal fixation to achieve precise reduction and stable fixation. The results demonstrated that cases using CAD/CAM technology showed significant superiority in occlusal relationship, facial symmetry, and neurological function recovery compared to traditional methods, with an average hospital stay shortened by 3.5 days and the postoperative complication rate reduced to 8.3%. The innovation lies in introducing digital technology into surgical planning, guiding personalized treatment schemes through three-dimensional reconstruction models, thereby enhancing surgical accuracy and safety. Additionally, an ob jective indicator-based functional recovery evaluation system was established, encompassing multidimensional evaluation criteria such as masticatory efficiency, speech clarity, and facial ex pressions, providing a scientific basis for clinical practice. This study not only validated the effectiveness of new technologies but also laid a foundation for subsequent research, possessing significant clinical application value and social implications.
