摘 要
随着全球化进程的加快,英语作为国际通用语言在基础教育阶段的重要性日益凸显。小学阶段是学生语言能力发展的关键时期,而口语表达能力作为语言运用的核心技能之一,却在传统课堂教学中常被忽视。当前小学英语课堂普遍存在学生表达机会不足、语言输出质量不高、自信心欠缺等问题,制约了学生综合语言运用能力的发展。本研究旨在探索提升小学生英语口语表达能力的有效策略,丰富课堂教学方法,促进学生语言实践能力的全面提升。研究采用行动研究法与案例分析相结合的方式,在某市三所小学开展为期一学期的教学实践,通过创设情境化教学活动、优化师生互动模式、引入多元评价机制等创新举措,系统观察和评估学生口语表达能力的变化。研究结果表明,改进后的教学策略显著提升了学生的口语表达频率、流利程度及语言组织能力,同时增强了其语言运用的自信心和合作意识。本研究的创新之处在于将“以说促学”理念融入小学英语课堂,并构建了符合儿童认知特点的口语训练模型,为小学英语教学改革提供了可操作的实践路径和理论支持。

Abstract
With the acceleration of globalization, English as an international lingua franca has become increasingly important at the foundational education stage. The primary school years constitute a critical period for students’ language development, yet oral ex pression, as one of the core competencies of language use, is often neglected in traditional classroom instruction. Current primary English classrooms commonly face challenges such as insufficient opportunities for student ex pression, low quality of language output, and lack of confidence, all of which hinder the development of students' overall language proficiency. This study aims to explore effective strategies for enhancing primary school students’ English speaking abilities, enriching classroom teaching methods, and promoting comprehensive improvement in students’ language practice. Using a combination of action research and case analysis, the study conducted a semester-long teaching intervention in three primary schools in a certain city. Through innovative approaches such as creating contextualized teaching activities, optimizing teacher-student interaction patterns, and introducing diverse evaluation mechanisms, the study systematically observed and assessed changes in students’ oral ex pression abilities. Findings indicate that the improved instructional strategies significantly enhanced students’ frequency of oral ex pression, fluency, and language organization skills, while also strengthening their confidence and cooperative awareness in language use. The innovation of this study lies in integrating the “speaking-to-learn” approach into primary English instruction and constructing a speaking training model tailored to children's cognitive characteristics, thereby providing practical pathways and theoretical support for the reform of English teaching in primary education.
