摘 要：英语习语作为语言文化的重要载体，蕴含丰富的历史、社会和风俗信息，其翻译不仅是语言转换的过程，更是跨文化交流的体现本研究以英语习语的文化内涵为切入点，探讨其翻译策略及其实现方式通过文献分析与案例研究相结合的方法，系统梳理了英语习语的文化背景及其在翻译中的难点，并提出基于文化适应性的多层次翻译策略研究发现，英语习语的翻译需兼顾语言形式与文化意蕴，在直译、意译、增译等方法的选择上应注重文化语境的契合性本研究创新性地提出了“文化重构”理念，强调在忠实原意的基础上实现目标语读者的文化认同，从而提升翻译效果这一理念为英语习语翻译提供了新的理论视角，对促进跨文化交流具有重要实践意义同时，研究成果可为相关领域的翻译教学与实践提供参考借鉴

Abstract：English idioms, as significant carriers of linguistic and cultural information, encapsulate rich historical, social, and customary details, and their translation involves not merely the conversion of language but also the embodiment of cross-cultural communication. This study focuses on the cultural connotations of English idioms, exploring their translation strategies and implementation methods. By employing a combination of literature analysis and case studies, this research systematically examines the cultural background of English idioms and addresses the challenges encountered in their translation, proposing a multi-level translation strategy based on cultural adaptability. The findings indicate that the translation of English idioms requires balancing linguistic form with cultural implications, emphasizing the alignment with cultural contexts when selecting methods such as literal translation, free translation, or amplification. Innovatively, this study introduces the concept of "cultural reconstruction," which stresses achieving cultural recognition among target-language readers while remaining faithful to the original meaning, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of translation. This concept provides a novel theoretical perspective for the translation of English idioms and holds important practical significance for promoting cross-cultural exchange. Additionally, the research outcomes can serve as valuable references for translation instruction and practice in related fields.
