摘 要：英语方言作为语言多样性的重要体现，承载了丰富的地域文化内涵。本研究以英语方言与地域文化的关联性为核心，探讨语言形式与文化特征之间的互动机制。基于社会语言学和文化人类学的理论框架，研究选取英国、美国及澳大利亚三个典型英语使用区域为案例，通过田野调查、语料分析和定量统计相结合的方法，深入剖析方言特征与地方文化习俗、历史传承及社会身份认同的关系。研究发现，英语方言的语音、词汇和语法变异在很大程度上反映了特定地域的文化特质，如社会阶层差异、移民背景及社区凝聚力等。此外，数字化时代的传播媒介对传统方言的保存与演变产生了深远影响。本研究的创新点在于将方言变异置于动态的文化生态中进行考察，并首次引入跨区域对比分析方法，揭示了方言与地域文化之间复杂的双向互动模式。研究成果不仅丰富了社会语言学的相关理论，还为保护和传承地域文化提供了实践指导，具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。

A Study on the Correlation between English Dialects and Regional Culture

Abstract：English dialects, as a significant manifestation of linguistic diversity, carry rich connotations of regional culture. This study focuses on the association between English dialects and regional culture, exploring the interactive mechanisms between linguistic forms and cultural characteristics. Grounded in the theoretical fr ameworks of sociolinguistics and cultural anthropology, the research selects three typical English-speaking regions—Britain, the United States, and Australia—as case studies. By employing a combination of field investigation, corpus analysis, and quantitative statistics, it provides an in-depth examination of the relationship between dialect features and local cultural customs, historical inheritance, and social identity. The findings indicate that phonological, lexical, and grammatical variations in English dialects largely reflect specific cultural traits of particular regions, such as social stratification, immigration backgrounds, and community cohesion. Furthermore, the media of the digital age have exerted profound influences on the preservation and evolution of traditional dialects. A key innovation of this study lies in its examination of dialect variation within a dynamic cultural ecology, while introducing cross-regional comparative analysis for the first time, thereby revealing complex bidirectional interaction patterns between dialects and regional culture. The research not only enriches relevant theories in sociolinguistics but also offers practical guidance for the protection and transmission of regional culture, demonstrating important academic value and practical significance.
