摘 要
现代主义小说在20世纪文学发展中占据重要地位，其独特的艺术表现形式和思想内涵受到广泛关注。本研究聚焦于现代主义小说中的神话模式，旨在探讨神话元素如何被重新诠释并融入现代叙事结构之中。通过对弗莱的原型批评理论进行深入分析，结合具体文本案例，如乔伊斯的《尤利西斯》、福克纳的《押沙龙，押沙龙！》等，运用文本细读与比较研究的方法，揭示了现代作家如何借助神话框架表达对现代社会的思考。研究发现，现代主义小说中的神话模式不仅继承了传统神话的核心要素，更通过碎片化叙事、意识流手法等创新形式赋予其新的生命。这一研究拓展了对现代主义文学的理解，为解读此类作品提供了新的视角，尤其强调了神话模式作为连接古今文化桥梁的重要意义，丰富了文学批评理论体系，也为后续相关研究奠定了基础。

Abstract
Modernist novels occupy a significant position in the development of 20th-century literature, with their unique artistic ex pressions and ideological connotations attracting considerable attention. This study focuses on the mythic patterns in modernist novels, aiming to explore how mythic elements are reinterpreted and integrated into modern narrative structures. By conducting an in-depth analysis of Frye’s archetypal criticism theory and combining it with specific textual cases such as Joyce’s "Ulysses" and Faulkner’s "Absalom, Absalom!", this research employs close reading and comparative studies to reveal how modern writers utilize mythic fr ameworks to articulate their thoughts on modern society. The findings indicate that the mythic patterns in modernist novels not only inherit the core elements of traditional myths but also rejuvenate them through innovative forms such as fragmented narratives and stream-of-consciousness techniques. This study broadens the understanding of modernist literature, providing new perspectives for interpreting these works, particularly emphasizing the significance of mythic patterns as bridges connecting ancient and contemporary cultures. It enriches the theoretical fr amework of literary criticism and lays a foundation for subsequent related research.
