摘 要
《子夜》作为茅盾的代表作，诞生于20世纪30年代中国社会剧烈变革时期，这一特殊的历史背景赋予作品深刻的时代意义。本研究旨在深入剖析《子夜》的主题思想与艺术成就，通过文本细读、历史语境分析以及比较文学的方法，揭示其在中国现代文学史上的独特地位。研究发现，《子夜》不仅展现了民族资产阶级在半殖民地半封建社会中的挣扎与失败，更通过对吴荪甫等人物命运的刻画，反映了当时中国社会各阶层的复杂关系和矛盾冲突。作品以宏大的叙事结构、细腻的心理描写和丰富的象征手法，构建了一个多维度的社会画卷。

Abstract
As Mao Dun's representative work, Midnight was born during the period of drastic social changes in China in the 1930s. This special historical background gives the works profound significance to The Times. The purpose of this study is to deeply analyze the theme and artistic achievements of Midnight, and reveal its unique position in the history of modern Chinese literature through careful reading of texts, historical context analysis and comparative literature. It is found that Midnight not only shows the struggle and failure of the national bourgeoisie in the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, but also reflects the complex relations and conflicts of all social strata in Chinese society at that time through the depiction of the fate of Wu Sun-fu and other characters. With its grand narrative structure, delicate psychological desc ription and rich symbolic techniques, the work constructs a multi-dimensional social picture scroll.
