摘 要
老舍作为中国现代文学的重要作家，其作品中对市民形象的塑造具有独特的价值。研究背景在于老舍身处社会转型期，传统与现代交织碰撞的社会环境为他提供了丰富的素材。本研究旨在深入剖析老舍小说中的市民形象塑造，探究这些形象背后所蕴含的文化内涵和社会意义。通过文本细读法，结合社会历史批评方法，从老舍的小说文本出发，挖掘其中市民形象的典型特征。研究发现，老舍笔下的市民形象类型多样，有如《骆驼祥子》里勤劳善良却最终被黑暗社会吞噬的底层劳动者祥子，《四世同堂》中在侵略者的铁蹄下表现出不同态度的祁家等众多人物形象。这些形象生动地展现了当时市民阶层的生活状态、思想观念以及精神风貌，揭示了旧中国社会的黑暗腐朽和人民的苦难挣扎。

Abstract
As an important writer of modern Chinese literature, Lao She has a unique value to the shaping of the citizen image in his works. The research background is that Lao She is in the social transition period, and the interwoven social environment of tradition and modernity provides rich materials for him. The purpose of this study is to deeply analyze the image shaping of citizens in Lao She's novels, and explore the cultural connotation and social significance behind these images. Through the text reading method, combined with the social history criticism method, starting from the novel text of Lao She, the typical characteristics of the citizen image are excavated. The study found that the types of the citizens in Lao She's works are diverse, such as Xiangzi, the hardworking and kind-hearted worker in Camel Xiangzi but eventually swallowed up by the dark society, and many other characters who show different attitudes under the iron hoof of the invaders. These images vividly show the living conditions, ideology and spiritual outlook of the citizens at that time, and reveal the dark and decay of the old Chinese society and the suffering and struggle of the people.
