Abstract

  With the increasing global demand for clean energy, the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry has experienced rapid development, making production efficiency and quality control focal points of the sector. As a critical means to enhance production efficiency, automated assembly technology demonstrates substantial application potential in NEV manufacturing. This study aims to explore the specific applications and optimization effects of automated assembly technology in NEV production. By analyzing existing production processes and integrating robotic technology, intelligent sensing technology, and information management systems, a comprehensive automated assembly solution is constructed. The research employs a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical studies, selecting typical NEV manufacturers as case studies to conduct comparative analyses of traditional assembly processes. The results indicate that the introduction of an automated assembly system has increased production efficiency by 30% and product qualification rates by 15%, while significantly reducing labor costs and operational risks. In particular, the application of automation technology in key processes such as battery assembly and motor installation has achieved high-precision positioning and assembly, effectively ensuring product quality stability. Additionally, this system possesses excellent flexible production capabilities, enabling rapid response to market demand changes and supporting mixed-line production of multiple vehicle models.
