Abstract
  Early childhood is a critical period for emotional development, during which music education plays an indispensable role. This study aims to investigate the relationship between early childhood music education and emotional development, delving into this topic through an in-depth examination. A review of existing literature reveals that there is still insufficient research on the specific connections between these two areas. Therefore, this study employs a combination of observational methods, surveys, and case analysis, selecting children from multiple kindergartens across different age groups as subjects. The findings indicate that during systematic music education, children are better able to express their emotions, show increased sensitivity to positive emotional experiences, and demonstrate stronger regulation abilities when confronted with negative emotions. An innovative aspect of this research lies in its focus not only on the promotion of positive emotions through music education but also on its profound exploration of the impact on negative emotion management, offering a new perspective on early childhood music education. The primary contribution of this study is the revelation of the potential value of music education in the emotional development of young children, emphasizing the importance of integrating music into daily teaching activities. It provides theoretical support for educators in developing relevant curricula and calls for greater societal attention to early childhood music education to promote the comprehensive and healthy development of children.
