THE ROLE OF AUTOMATIC SYSTEM IN IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF CROP PLANTING

ABSTRACT
With the global population growth and the increasing shortage of cultivated land resources, improving the efficiency of crop planting has become the core issue of modern agriculture development. This study focuses on the application of automation system in agricultural production, aiming to explore its improvement effect on planting efficiency and its realization mechanism. The research adopts the method of combining field experiments and data analysis, selected typical agricultural demonstration areas as the research ob jects, and collected and analyzed relevant data by deploying automatic systems such as intelligent irrigation, precision fertilization and UAV monitoring. The results show that the application of automated system increased water utilization by 35%, fertilizer efficiency by 28% and crop yield by 22% on average. The research innovatively constructs an agricultural automation evaluation system based on the Internet of Things technology, and puts forward a modern agricultural development model of "precision-intelligent-sustainable". The main contribution lies in revealing the key path of the deep integration of automation technology and traditional agriculture, and providing the theoretical basis and practical guidance for the transformation of agricultural modernization. The study found that the automated system not only significantly improved the efficiency of resource utilization, but also reduced the labor cost, and enhanced the risk resistance ability of agricultural production. However, the technology promotion is still facing the challenges of high initial investment and low acceptance of farmers.
