Abstract:As a significant representative of modernist poetry in China, Bian Zhilin's poetic creation exhibits a distinctive tendency towards impersonalization. This study, grounded in formalist and structuralist theoretical perspectives and employing close reading methods, delves into the formation mechanism and aesthetic value of the impersonal characteristics in Bian Zhilin's poetry. Through the analysis of representative works such as "Fragment" and "The Organization of Distance," it is found that the poet achieves the dilution of subjective consciousness and restraint of personal emotions through techniques like imagery combination, shifts in narrative perspective, and linguistic defamiliarization. The research demonstrates that this impersonal inclination not only signifies the poet's breakthrough from traditional lyric modes but also reflects his profound contemplation on the dilemmas of modernity. It is indicated that Bian Zhilin's poetic practice offers new dimensions for understanding the development of modern Chinese poetry, particularly in addressing the relationship between individual experience and universal humanity. Innovatively introducing the theory of impersonalization into the field of modern Chinese poetry studies, this research enriches the relevant academic discourse system and lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent studies.
