Abstract

  With the advancement of Industry 4.0, automated production lines have been widely adopted in manufacturing, yet their energy consumption issues have become increasingly prominent, posing a critical constraint on sustainable corporate development. This study aims to explore energy consumption optimization strategies in automated production lines to reduce production costs, enhance energy efficiency, and decrease carbon emissions. By establishing an integrated evaluation system that encompasses equipment operation status monitoring, process flow analysis, and energy consumption data collection, this research employs a combination of mathematical modeling and simulation techniques to conduct an in-depth analysis of energy consumption characteristics under various operating conditions. Based on this analysis, an energy optimization model that integrates intelligent scheduling algorithms with parameter self-adaptive adjustment mechanisms is proposed. This model can dynamically adjust equipment operation parameters according to different production tasks, achieving precise energy-saving control. The results indicate that in practical applications, this optimization strategy can reduce overall energy consumption of the production line by approximately 15%-20% without compromising product quality or production efficiency. This innovative approach not only provides an effective solution to the energy consumption challenges faced by current automated production lines but also makes significant contributions to promoting the deep implementation of green manufacturing concepts in the industrial sector, which is crucial for advancing the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.
