Abstract 
This study addresses the significance of green space system construction in the current process of urbanization, exploring the establishment and optimization of green space systems in eco-city planning. The research background indicates that with the rapid development of urbanization, the ecological environment faces severe challenges, highlighting the importance of reasonable planning of green space systems to improve the urban ecological environment and enhance residents' quality of life. This study aims to propose a green space system construction and optimization scheme suitable for modern eco-cities through scientific analysis and case studies. The research methodology integrates various techniques such as Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, remote sensing technology monitoring, and multivariate statistical analysis to conduct an in-depth investigation into the spatial layout of green space systems, their ecological benefits, and their coordination with urban development. The results demonstrate that a reasonable layout of green spaces can significantly improve the quality of the urban ecological environment. Additionally, optimal allocation of green spaces has a notable effect on mitigating the urban heat island effect and improving air quality. This study innovatively presents a green space classification optimization strategy based on ecological service functions, providing a scientific basis for eco-city planning. The main contribution lies in offering new theoretical support and practical guidance for the construction and optimization of urban green space systems through a combination of quantitative analysis and empirical research, thereby promoting sustainable city development.
