Translation and cross-cultural communication of ancient poetry
Abstract
First of all, in the introduction part, the background, significance and purpose of the research are expounded, and the research status at home and abroad is summarized. In the theoretical basis part, this paper introduces the basic theoretical fr amework of translation studies, analyzes the characteristics of ancient poetry and the difficulties in the translation process, and probes into the theoretical perspective of cross-cultural communication and the relationship between translation and recipient culture. In the case analysis part, this paper demonstrates the diversity and complexity of ancient poetry translation through concrete translation examples, analyzes the disputes and discussions in translation, and makes a cross-cultural assessment of translation effects. In the section on the strategies of ancient poetry translation and cross-cultural communication, this paper puts forward the cultural adaptability of translation strategies, discusses the balance between localization and internationalization, and discusses the cultural sensitivity in translation. At the same time, the paper also discusses innovation and conservatism in translation, the importance of translation education and cultural communication, and the application of technology in translation practice, especially the auxiliary role of machine translation. Finally, the paper summarizes the importance of ancient poetry translation in promoting intercultural understanding and communication, and puts forward prospects for future translation practice and intercultural communication.
